Our 6-Step Deck Waterproof Coating Process

Deck Surface Preparation

Clean the surface thoroughly, removing dirt, debris, and any previous coatings. Ensure the substrate is dry and free of moisture.

Base Coat Application

Apply the base coat of the ALX system evenly over the prepared surface. Use a roller or spray application to create a seamless and uniform layer

Reinforcement

Embed the ALX fabric into the wet base coat to reinforce the system's strength and durability

Second Coat Application

Apply a second coat of the ALX system, covering the embedded fabric completely. Maintain a consistent thickness for optimal waterproofing.

Finishing Touches

Finish the ALX system with desired textures or additives for slip resistance and aesthetics

Final Cure

Allow the ALX system to cure fully based on the recommended curing time before foot traffic or placing furniture
