Materials Matter
Not all garage floor coatings are created equal. Here's what separates lasting floors from weekend warrior disasters and why we use both epoxy and polyaspartic.
Epoxy Base Coat
- Superior adhesion to concrete
- Thicker application for durability
- Proven longevity (20+ years)
- Handles substrate imperfections
Polyaspartic Top coat
- UV-stable (won't yellow)
- Hot tire pickup resistance
- Chemical resistant finish
- Fast cure time (less downtime)
The “One-Day Floor” Problem
Fast installation sounds appealing, but polyurea/polyaspartic-only systems sacrifice durability for speed. Thinner applications and rushed prep work create beautiful floors that don't last. We take the time to do it right.

Frequently Asked Questions
Seven years and thousands of projects mean we've heard every question. Here are the answers.
How much does a garage floor coating cost?
Most residential garage floors range from $2,800-$8,500 depending on size, concrete condition, and customization level. We provide detailed quotes after evaluating your specific concrete. Additional costs may apply for extensive crack repair or moisture mitigation.
How long does installation take?
Most residential garages are completed in 1-2 days. Day one involves surface preparation and grinding. Day two covers coating application. Timeline may extend for larger commercial projects or challenging concrete conditions.
What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?
Epoxy provides excellent adhesion and structural strength as a base coat. Polyaspartic offers UV stability, chemical resistance, and faster cure times as a topcoat. We use both materials together for optimal performance.
How do you prep the concrete?
Industrial diamond grinding creates the mechanical profile concrete needs for lasting adhesion. We never use acid etching, rental grinders, or other shortcuts that compromise long-term performance.
What happens to existing cracks?
We repair cracks using flexible materials that accommodate concrete movement. Minor hairline cracks are typically included in project pricing. Larger structural repairs are assessed separately.
Can you install in winter?
Yes. Our polyaspartic systems cure effectively in wider temperature ranges than traditional epoxy-only floors, allowing year-round installation in most conditions.
How soon can I park on the floor?
Light foot traffic after 24 hours. Vehicles can return in 24-48 hours depending on temperature and humidity conditions. Full cure takes 5-7 days.
Will the coating yellow over time?
Not with our polyaspartic topcoat system. It's UV-stable and maintains its appearance even in garages with windows or frequently opened doors.
